Are you looking for an opportunity to be one of the faces to our largest clients? Welcome to your next role! The Forecasting Analyst will serve as a key representative to our internal and external stakeholders across Supply Chain, Marketing and Business Insights.ย 

This individual is expected to lead the creation of promotional forecasts in collaboration with internal and externalย partners andย requires the ability to fully analyze and speak to the forecasting process and output. This role is also responsible for ensuring high forecast accuracy.ย ย 

This is a hybrid role based at 345 N Morgan St, Chicago, IL 60607. Candidates must reside in the Chicago metropolitan area. Relocation assistance is not offered at this time.

Responsibilities:ย 

  • Build sales forecasts individually andย assistย in creation of sales forecasts by our offshore forecasting teamย 

  • Analyzeย sales performance,ย data trends,ย quantifyย business drivers such as price and marketing initiatives,ย andย create baseline modelsย 

  • Build and refine PowerPoint decks summarizing forecasting insights and resultsย 

  • Presentย and defendย forecastsย to the customer and address customer feedback and questionsย 

  • Serve as the face to the customer,ย developย andย maintainย strong relationships to influence decision makingย and promote HAVI's role as thought leaderย 

  • Lead communication of project status and reports toย appropriate internalย and external partnersย 

  • Manage multiple deliverables' timelines and scopeย in order toย meet customerย objectivesย and milestonesย 

  • Ensure that the forecasting team is using best-in-class methods by keepingย up-to-dateย with industry and business trendsย 

  • Leadย orย participateย on special project teamsย 

  • Provide recommendationsย to demand planning, supplyย planningย and enablementย teamsย on process improvements,ย solving problems andย accomplishingย planningย objectivesย based onย holisticย understanding ofย cross-functionalย rolesย inย theย overall supply planningย processย 

Requirements:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis on Business, Statistics/Informatics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Supply Chain & Logisticswith equivalent professional experienceย 

  • Minimum ofย 3+ย yearsย ofdata analysis, forecasting, demand planning, supply planningย experienceย ย 

  • Experience in managing client relationships and expectations in a B2B settingย requiredย 

  • Experience in a team environment, with responsibility for end-resultsย ย 

  • Proficiencyย in MS Excelย (pivot tables, macros), PowerPoint, and Wordย ย 

  • Experience withย statistical software packages (SAS,ย SQL, R, Python, etc.)ย is a plusย 

  • Experience with Marketing/Social Media analytics is a plusย

ย *Starting Salary is $80,000-$90,000 with a 5% targeted bonus ย ย
