Job description

Customer Service & Forecast Specialist is the critical bridge between production, sales, and procurement in a supply chain department. Analysing historical data and market trends to predict customer demand, ensuring optimal inventory levels, efficient production schedules, and minimal shortages or excess stock. In parallel this role provides high-quality customer service for internal & external client, communication and order management.
Key tasks:

  • Create SAP production orders for primary assemblies
  • Evaluate Sales demand and forecast to create suitable production schedules
  • Conduct weekly forecast maintenance meetings
  • Work along side Operations Planning Manager monitoring and reporting significant changes in forecast
  • Create slice plan and forecast with Operations Planning Manager
  • Maintain production order serial numbers
  • Monitor exception messages
  • React to moving demand, implementing changes to production schedule to ensure deadlines are met
  • Promptly address production issues
  • Propose and help implement solutions for improving forecast accuracy
  • Interaction with the purchasing team to ensure material availability and pull ins are in place
  • Conduct weekly planning meeting to discuss shortfalls and required actions where applicable
  • Address demand related issues in an effective and timely manner
  • Support Operations Planning Manager with risk assessments and mitigation activities
  • Maintain traffic light chart/milestone plan with current start/completion data
  • Assist Operations Planning manager in other areas as required
Your profile
  • Several years experience in Supply Chain
  • Knowledge of planning and demand planning processes
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP/HANA is required
  • Ability to communicate requirements with stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Problem solving mindset, able to respond to unexpected issues such as material shortage, stock discrepancies
  • Good communication skills (in English and Polish), comfortable working with colleagues across all departments
  • Strong attention to detail and the desire to ensure accuracy at all stages of the process
  • A team player, able to multitask and willing to support colleagues and contribute to smooth daily operations
  • Positive and proactive attitude with a desire to learn fast in dynamic environment
