Job Description We are seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team at the Forage Genetics Warehouse. The role performs material handling, order fulfillment, and general warehouse upkeep in an agricultural environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, following safety procedures, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Responsibilities: Load, unload, and deliver materials within or near the work site using a forklift or related equipment. Count and weigh materials or containers and record information on forms and logs. Fill orders, package goods, load trucks, and move stock within the warehouse. Transport materials to and from production areas as directed. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, including sweeping floors and cleaning spills or broken product. Follow general safety and environmental procedures and use required PPE, including steel-toed shoes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly. Forklift operation experience; ability to operate safely in a warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail with accurate counting and documentation skills. Solid communication and interpersonal skills with dependable punctuality and flexibility. General knowledge of safety and environmental procedures with the ability to follow them. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills: Experience in agricultural or seed warehouse operations. Experience with order picking systems and inventory software. Work Environment & Schedule: Site Name: Forage Genetics Warehouse. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Some weekends and holidays as needed, with potential weekends during harvest. Agricultural warehouse environment with dust from dirt seed; warehouse is not temperature controlled. Respirators available for voluntary use. Steel-toed shoes required. Why BCforward?
