Overview:
Contingent, 8 to 16+ hours per week, variable shifts . Junior/Senior Highschool students welcome.
Job Description Summary:
Assists in providing care and support to patients by performing various tasks such as cleaning, organizing and stocking supplies.
Job Description:
Essential Functions:
  • Maintains cleanliness of the unit by regularly cleaning, disinfecting and organizing toys, surfaces and equipment per hospital policy.
  • Stocks and restocks supplies in patient rooms and common areas as directed by supervisor, charge nurse or manager.
  • Runs errands for unit as needed such as picking up supplies from Central Distribution, delivering/ picking up other items as needed or as delegated.
  • Assist manager with various office tasks such as filing, sorting and copying.
  • Breaks rooms down after discharges. Checks hallway for wheelchairs/wageons and O2 tanks and returns them to proper storage area on unit.
  • Assists manager or administrative assistant with various office tasks such as filing, sorting and copying. Assists with special office projects as delegated.
