Job Summary:
The Center for Global Health (CGH) at the Colorado School of Public Health seeks a Faculty Lead to provide strategic leadership for the CGH East Africa Initiative, a growing platform for education, research, and partnership engagement centered in Kenya with regional collaborations across East Africa.
Working closely with partners in East Africa, University of Colorado (CU) faculty, and CGH leadership, the Faculty Lead will advance equitable partnerships, collaborative research, bidirectional learning opportunities, and sustainable capacity-strengthening initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape a university-wide platform for engagement in East Africa. The Faculty Lead will foster interdisciplinary collaboration across CU campuses while promoting ethical, reciprocal, and locally responsive approaches to global health partnership, research, and practice. The ideal candidate will bring regional experience and expertise in public health program development and evaluation, sustainable development, and the social and environmental determinants of health.

Support development and evaluation of educational and training programs in collaboration with partner organizations.
Mentor and advise learners participating in initiative-related activities, as appropriate.
Program Oversight
Provide guidance on logistics, safety, and risk management for learners, faculty, and staff traveling to the region.
