Practice options available in this scenic foothill community, minutes from Yosemite National Park. The opportunity could be an employed setting with hospital salary which blends into RVU remuneration package; another practice option would be affiliated with physician network; the only other Neurologist in the community is retiring; practice would be mainly clinic with approximately 12 consults|month; call 1:4; no stroke available; practice would include EMG, EEG's; this practice is affiliated with a 72-acute care bed and 12-bed transitional care unit regional medical center hospital located in the Sierra Nevada foothills, serving 100,000 in Calaveras, Tuolumne and portions of Mariposa counties. The medical center is staffed by 175 physicians, 1,400 employees and 177 volunteers.
This practice is located in the foothills of California's Sierra Nevada Mountains, ideally situated for the outdoor lover and adventurer. Numerous campgrounds, golf courses, ski resorts, lakes and waterways are available to Sonora residents.Location is only two hours from Sacramento and two and a half hours from San Francisco, making easy day trips to these vibrant cities. This scenic area is home to many restaurants, theaters, community college, quaint stores and plays host to festivals and events throughout the year.
