The Club Server provides efficient and courteous service for the guests.

The Company also operates five renowned golf courses: Pebble Beach Golf Links, home of the 2027 U.S. Open, Spyglass Hill Golf Course, The Links at Spanish Bay, Del Monte Golf Course, and the Tiger Woods designed short course, The Hay.
Its other famed properties include scenic 17-Mile Drive, The Spa at Pebble Beach, Forbes Five-Star certified since 2014, Pebble Beach Golf Academy & Practice Facility, and a diverse offering of culinary and retail experiences. PBC annually hosts premier events such as the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, TaylorMade Pebble Beach Invitational, Pebble Beach Food & Wine and PURE Insurance Championship.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the resolution of guest complaints.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in server checkouts.
  • Answer questions regarding style, presentation, quality and price of all food and beverages.
  • Take the guests' food and drink orders. Open wine bottle and pour wine, refilling glasses as needed.
  • Observe guests' progress and respond in a timely way to their needs.
  • Carry orders on a tray to the table and serve to the correct person.
  • Strive to increase the guest check through suggestive sales techniques and alternatives.
  • Prepare guest check using Micros point of sale system and collect payment.
  • Maintain assigned table and station cleanliness, tidiness and order.
  • Open and close side work, cleaning areas, and re-stocking supplies, or delegate this responsibility.
  • In the morning prepare back kitchen, set-up breakfast buffet, stock supplies, including bagels and muffins, make coffee and check tables.
  • Assist in dining room set-up, under supervision of manager.
  • Ensure general housekeeping, including cleaning of fixtures, appliances, counters, and dusting.
  • Complete cash accounting and all related paperwork.
  • Set-up and break down special events and evening banquets, to include moving tables, chairs and other furniture as necessary.
  • Work special events as required. Any other tasks as directed by supervisor.
  • Fill-in for host and manager as needed.
  • Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety, health and general policies and procedures.

Absolutely Required Skills:
  • Polished, professional server skills.
  • Ability to carry full trays of entrees.
  • Ability to communicate diplomatically and effectively with guests and co-workers.
  • Time management in the execution of all duties before, during and after the shift.
  • Previous serving experience is required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule required.
  • Food safety and TIPS certification required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Desired Skills:
  • Ability to bartend a plus.
  • Fine dining restaurant server experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Micros or other point of sale equipment helpful.
