RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Night shift schedule Monday through Thursday from 8:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Nevada state RN license required prior to start date
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years experience in Trauma OR setting required
• Work in Level II Trauma OR with 18 operating rooms
• Care for patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics
• Perform procedures including trauma, neurosurgery (ACDF, spinal fusions, cranial procedures), Da Vinci Xi robotics, urology, vascular, open hearts, general surgery, trauma orthopedics, pediatrics, minimal plastics and ENT
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and their families/caregivers
• Utilize nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Work in extremely busy and fast-paced environment

This major medical center is the region's only Level II Trauma Center, serving a 500-mile radius with 800 inpatient beds and 80 emergency room beds. The facility features state-of-the-art technology including the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, low-dose CT imaging, dedicated PET/CT scanner, Biplane Angiography, and the newest 3T MRI technologies. The hospital is home to the region's only children's hospital, a leading robotic surgery institute, groundbreaking brain and nerve care, and comprehensive heart and cancer services. The facility treats over 80,000 emergency room and trauma patients annually and operates as the only trauma center between Sacramento and Salt Lake City.
