THE ROLE
SEMINOLE SPORTS NETWORK SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN - This role will assist in the planning, creation, and execution of digital content across multiple Florida State platforms. This role will support live event coverage, social media strategy, graphic and video content production, and brand activation campaigns tied to Florida State Athletics and corporate partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the execution and management of daily social media content across the Seminole Sports Network social media channels
  • Create engaging graphics, reels, short-form videos and promotional content aligned with Florida State branding standards
  • Assist with live football gameday social media coverage, including real-time posting, highlights, fan engagement pregame and behind the scenes content creation
  • Assist in promoting weekly coaches shows through social content, live clips and graphics
  • Collaborate with the sales and activation team to fulfill sponsor-related digital activations and campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere Pro, Photoshop OR other creative applications.
  • Understanding of social media platforms including Instagram, X, Facebook and YouTube
  • Ability to create engaging short-form video content, graphics, and promotional assets in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in on-camera work including athlete, fans and other Florida state related interviews/reporting.
  • Must be either an undergraduate or graduate student at Florida State University
  • Must be able to work all home football games
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • High level of initiative
  • Strong focus on attention to detail
