We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Flag Football Coach to assist the Head Coach with recruiting, scouting, and practice planning.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform competition day duties as assigned, and monitor equipment inventory and care.
  • Assist with practice and competition day management and activities
  • Assist with organizational planning (travel, community service, study hall, etc.), and support student-athlete development and assist with roster management.
  • Help with the planning and organization of camps and clinics.

OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS
  • Know and comply with all Marymount rules and regulations.
  • Must be CPR and First Aid certified.
  • Provide positive leadership for student-athletes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of flag football experience.
Licenses or Certifications: CPR and First Aid certified
Financial Responsibility: None
Supervision: None
Special Knowledge: Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations, and pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually.
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Being able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Please note that this role is in person based in Arlington, VA. Position will be open until filled.
Compensation/Total Rewards
This is a stipend-based position: the stipend for this role ranges from $200 to $400, depending on experience and timing within the semester. It is competitive, market-based, and aligned with the University's financial framework. Part-time employees are eligible to contribute to the university's 403(b) retirement plan on their own.
