Job description

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a STUDENT ATHLETE ADVISOR LEAD-FOOTBALL ATHLETICS to be the lead advisor for all football student-athletes and other assigned student-athletes. To manage and supervise football advisors, support staff and provide training to other student-athlete advisors. To manage performance evaluations for football advisors annually. To coordinate football student-athlete orientation and perform eligibility evaluations. To serve as a point person for evaluations for transfer football student-athletes. To provide counseling and advising to student-athletes on major and career planning and to maintain accurate and timely information on academic progress. To serve on campus committees and complete projects as assigned. To establish and maintain relationships with all student athletes, coaches, and faculty. 

(Annual Salary:  $51,270  -  $73,364)

Master's degree in a related field and four (4) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirements.
