Overview

The Box Office Supervisor is a part time role that will assist the Box Office Manager with the daily operation of the Box Office by supervising and supporting Box Office Attendants while ensuring exceptional customer service to all guests of the Mullins Center. This position requires a thorough understanding of the Paciolan ticketing system, event programming, seating configurations, and box office procedures. The Box Office Supervisor serves as a resource for staff, assists with resolving customer concerns, and helps ensure efficient and accurate box office operations for all events.

This role pays an hourly rate of $17.00

This position will remain open until October 30, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, support, and assist Box Office Attendants during daily operations and event shifts.
  • Train and mentor Box Office Attendants on the Paciolan ticketing system, customer service standards, and box office procedures.
  • Know and understand the operations of the Paciolan ticketing system and assist with troubleshooting ticketing issues.
  • Assist in programming ticketing systems for events, including ticket pricing, seating configurations, discounts, and event restrictions.
  • Familiarize yourself with each event, including ticket prices, discounts, restrictions, reserved or general admission seating, and event procedures.
  • Know and understand seating charts and configurations of the Mullins Center.
  • Ensure ticket transactions are completed efficiently and accurately while maintaining established box office procedures.
  • Prepare cash banks, reconcile daily ticket sales, and maintain accurate ticket inventory.
  • Open and close the box office as needed.
  • Assist with resolving escalated guest concerns and provide world-class customer service.
  • Operate the phone and respond to patron inquiries regarding events and ticketing.
  • Work closely with event promoters, venue staff, and management to ensure successful event operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information.
  • Attend all home football games and ~80% of Mullins Center Events
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Box Office Manager.
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of box office experience in a similar entertainment or sports venue preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with the Paciolan ticketing system preferred.
  • Familiarity with Windows-based computers.
  • Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with the public and handling cash.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a productive member of a team.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be comfortable working in an environment with loud noise.
