Job Description

The Assistant Coach for the Radford University Women's Flag Football Club Team will support all aspects of the program's operation with a primary emphasis on offensive development, recruiting, and student-athlete success. The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to develop and implement offensive strategies, recruit prospective student-athletes, and contribute to the continued growth and competitive success of the Women's Flag Football program within Elevated Club Sports.

Required Qualifications

Education, training, and experience in a related field.
Knowledge of football and/or flag football offensive concepts and strategies.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to recruit and effectively engage prospective student-athletes.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience at the collegiate, high school, club, or youth level.
Experience recruiting student-athletes.
Experience with film breakdown and game analysis software.
Playing or coaching experience in football or flag football.
CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire).
