Job Summary
This Football Analyst will serve a primary role in the research and analysis of Georgia Southern's football student-athletes and opponents' tendencies, weaknesses, strengths, and trends. The Analyst travels with the coaching staff and team to all home and away games to provide statistical analyses and support. This position has sole responsibility for managing Just Play software and providing coaching staff with detailed analysis and engaging student athletes in game preparation.
This is a part-time 19 hour per week position.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of Just Play software by collecting data, formatting analysis for coaching staff, and engaging athletes to increase sport IQ and retention
  • Application of Just Play measurements in day to day operations to affect game operation and execution decisions
  • Work independently to analyze film data to assess, evaluate, and identify offensive and defensive patterns
  • Prepare summary reports and statistical analyses for the coaches to utilize in teaching, practice, and preparation for competition
  • Propose strategic plans and coordinates video cutups as well as assists with opponent and overall game day preparation
  • Opponent Prep - Week ahead
  • Responsible for organization duties at practice and games
  • Game Day Defensive Call-Out ' Sideline
  • Assist with On-Campus Recruiting as directed by the Recruiting Coordinator
  • Assist in day-to-day operations of the football program as directed by the Director of Football Operations

Proposed Salary

This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
