Description
Job Overview: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing various tasks to support the warehouse operations of GBC Food Services, LLC. This role includes the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring that the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe. The Warehouse Associate works closely with other team members to meet daily operational goals and uphold company standards.
Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, including both dry goods and frozen products, following company standards.
  • Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and promptly report discrepancies.
  • Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Assist with additional warehouse tasks as directed by supervisors.
Work Schedule:
  • Tuesday-Friday, 10 hours per day
Competencies:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification preferred).

Education and Experience:
