SAM Sensory & Market Research is the division of SAM that provides these services for all USA-based clients. Our sensory science program resides in our USA headquarters in Minneapolis, MN.

Job Description

Pay Range: $16/Hr.- $17/Hr.

Part-Time Position

The statements below reflect the general responsibilities and requirements of the Consumer Testing Associate position but may not describe all the work requirements that may be inherent in the job.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serverย โ€“ Delivering testing product and ensuring proper consumer test instructions are being followed.
  • Kitchenย โ€“ Preparing testing product using the protocols designated by the client.
  • Hostย โ€“ Respondent check-in, communicate with recruiter, incentive payouts, light computer and administrative duties.
  • Moderator/Facilitator โ€“ย Lead respondents through testing & coordinate sample distribution with servers.

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Critical thinking and ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with both the public and Eurofins National Food Labsโ€™ clients
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate the computer easily (particularly Internet, Microsoft Office and Outlook programs and systems)
  • Pride in self by maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling including long hours
Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of computers and software programs
  • Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours (with lunch & breaks in between)
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipย 

Required Licenses or Certificates:

  • Valid Driverโ€™s License and Proof of Insurance

Additional Information

This is a part-time position offering a flexible schedule with shifts available from Sunday to Saturday. On average, candidates can expect to work 10-18 hours per week (some weeks may offer fewer hours, and some may offer more, depending on business needs). Candidates who are able to work at least 1 day per week or have consistent availability (after school, weekends, seasonally, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

The pay for this role starts at $16 per hour.
