Job description

Pay Range: $19/Hr.

Shift: Tuesday- Saturday, 7am- 3:30pm (Additional hours as needed).

The Registration Technician is responsible for the accurate receipt, documentation, and processing of incoming samples in accordance with company procedures and quality standards. This position works under the supervision of the Sample Registration Supervisor (or designee) and supports efficient laboratory operations by ensuring data integrity and proper sample handling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform the procedures for sample receipt, sorting, and line up according to the guidelines of Eurofins Scientific.
  • Enter sample testing requests and other pertinent information into the computer system.
  • Verify information entered by data entry personnel to ensure that it accurately reflects the information supplied by the client.
  • Ensure all work is completed as necessary when co-workers are absent.
  • Maintain storage of retained samples according to the guidelines of Eurofins Scientific.
  • Maintain neat and accurate record system and assist with filing as directed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area and assist others in maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
  • Manage time in a manner that ensures a high degree of productivity.
  • Ensure that proprietary methodologies are not disclosed to non-employees except as approved in writing by the Laboratory Director or appointed designate.
  • Follow all guidelines and procedures of Eurofins Scientific.
  • Maintain a perpetual state of readiness and willingness to respond to the queries and needs of clients, staff, and co-workers.
  • Remain current on industry and business advancements and trends as suggested by manager.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with all company employees.
  • Communicate orally and in writing to co-workers. This includes โ€œintraโ€ and โ€œinterโ€ departmental employees.
  • Promote company image through the exercising of sound and ethical business practices as related to the public and our customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Associateโ€™s Degree in science preferred, or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Willing to work overtime
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
