Food Co-worker (Dishwashing & Bussing)/Customer Service/Food Service Worker

Location: Draper, UT 84020

Schedule:

  • Wednesday – Saturday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
  • Sunday: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

(34–40 hours per week)

Purpose of the Role

Contributes to creating a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable dining experience for customers and co-workers. This role supports food operations by ensuring cleanliness, order, and food safety standards in the dish room, customer dining areas, and the IKEA Staff Café.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in the dishwashing area to maintain a clean supply of dishes, trays, utensils, pots, and pans in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Assist with bussing and cleaning in customer dining and staff café areas, including clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, maintaining beverage/condiment stations, and tray returns.
  • Provide support in maintaining an orderly and sanitary dining environment for guests and co-workers.
  • Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines in compliance and local regulations.
  • Monitor and report equipment issues, safety concerns, or hazards promptly.
  • Support team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing, high-volume environment preferred.
