Responsibilities:
Build your career while supporting exceptional patient care close to home. Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a dependable Food Services Aide to join our team. In this role, you will assist with food preparation, support efficient meal service, and help maintain a clean and sanitary environment that promotes the health and well-being of our patients and residents.
If you are detail-oriented, enjoy working as part of a team, and take pride in delivering quality service, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting.
  • Prepare food according to standardized recipes and established procedures.
  • Support timely and efficient meal service while ensuring quality and portion standards are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, work areas, and food service spaces in accordance with food safety regulations and organizational standards.
  • Monitor and document daily records, including patient/resident meals, cafeteria meals, special events, and food temperatures.
  • Operate a variety of food service and kitchen equipment safely and effectively
  • Follow food handling, safety, and infection prevention guidelines.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment focused on excellent service and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications:
No formal education required.
Prior experience in food service is helpful but not required; candidates with less than one year of experience are encouraged to apply.
