Cook and Café Cook
$13.50 per hour
4:30am to 11:00am and 11:00am to 8:00pm
Requirements:
  • Previous or current work experience in the food service industry
  • Texas Food Handler card required
  • Must be able to monitor and record food temperatures to ensure food safety
  • Cook according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, or numbers of portions to be served.
  • Must be able to cook for quantities of 200 people for each meal.
  • Candidate must have great prioritizing skills, extremely focused and able to multi-task.
  • Rotate and store food supplies
  • Wash pots, pans, dishes, utensils, or other cooking equipment.
  • Apportion and serve food to facility residents, employees, or patrons
  • Must have flexibility to work weekends and Holidays
Other Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Vaccination/shot history available
