Job description

Join Pilgrim Place, a welcoming senior living community in Claremont, CA, where respect, kindness, and teamwork guide all that we do. We’re looking for a dependable and compassionate Food Service Cook to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide personal care and support that helps residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.

Schedule Requirement: This position requires full open availability, including weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Shifts may vary based on operational needs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepares meals, including therapeutic diets and special menu needs for residents.

  • Maintains food safety standards, sanitation, and HACCP compliance.

  • Monitors food temperatures, refrigerators, freezers, and required logs daily.

  • Manages food deliveries, stock rotation, inventory, and menu support.

  • Supports dining service, teamwork, safety practices, and other assigned kitchen duties.
