Position: Food Service Associate
Job Type: Full-Time / Non-Exempt
Shift Details: Monday-Friday 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM. Flexibility based on business needs.
Work Location: Crisis - Wake Recovery Response Center; Raleigh, NC
Salary/Hourly Wage: $15.00 - $16.00/hour
Specialties / Licenses or Certifications:
-Active and valid Food Handler’s Certification required.
-Must possess and maintain an active, valid North Carolina Driver’s License, as this position requires daily pickup of food and kitchen supplies during scheduled shifts.
Summary of Job: The Food Service Associate is responsible for preparing and serving food under the direction of the Food Service Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Guest Care amp; Advocacy:
    • Prepares and serves food in accordance with food safety requirements and departmental procedures.
  2. Compliance amp; Risk Management:
    • Maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen by using proper food handling techniques.
    • Ensures all food is dated and disposed of after sell date.
    • Monitors refrigerator temperature and documents on daily temperature log.
    • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
    • Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  3. Additional Duties:
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  5. Miscellaneous Requirement(s):
    • Travel required based on business need.
    • Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.
