Location: St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, DE

Position Purpose:

  • The Food Service Aide maintains general cleanliness of entire department including kitchen, storage and public areas and equipment.

As an "Food Service Aide" you will:

  • Maintaining general cleanliness of entire department including kitchen, storage and public areas and equipment.

  • Sanitation and maintenance of dish room and dish machine. Dish and pot washing and storage.

  • Proper storage and rotation of all foods and nonfoods delivered to the facility.

  • Assists with patient and cafeteria meal service, set up and break down as needed.

  • Responsible for the record keeping of dish machine temperatures.

  • Follows management/supervisory direction to ensure smooth operation and quality control.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS diploma or equivalency (required)

  • Customer service oriented

  • Effectively communicates with customers, clients and management.

  • Able to work with minimal supervision or alone.
