The Safety Trainer will be responsible for training employees on workplace safety, food safety procedures, OSHA regulations, GMP standards, sanitation practices, and company policies. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.Key Responsibilities:Conduct new hire orientation and safety training; ensure our Qualified Process is active, thorough, and effectiveTrain employees on OSHA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, PPE, Lockout/Tagout, Forklift safety, Sanitation procedures, Fall protection, MEWP training, Confined space, Electrical and Arc Flash trainingLead ongoing safety meetings and refresher training sessionsMaintain training records and compliance documentationPerform safety audits and identify workplace hazardsAssist with incident investigations and corrective actionsEnsure employees follow company safety and food safety standardsSupport continuous improvement and accident prevention programsWork closely with supervisors, HR, quality assurance, and production teamsQualifications:High school diploma or GED required; Certificate/AA in OSH preferredPrevious manufacturing or food production experience preferredSafety training and leadership experience requiredKnowledge of OSHA, GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulationsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMulti-site operations experience preferredBasic computer skills requiredAbility to conduct hands-on and classroom trainingPreferred Qualifications:OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 certificationHACCP certificationForklift trainer certificationFirst Aid/CPR certificationThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level or work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
