THE JOB:
As a Lead Hostperson, you will be responsible for setting the stage for the guest experience with your welcoming smile and attentive service.
In this role, you will support multiple outlets across the property-including Diablo's Cantina, Tender Steakhouse, and Public House-delivering a consistently exceptional experience for every guest.
THE STARTING RATE: $23.87 Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Greet and seat guest in gracious manner and distribute business among Food Servers equally
  • Assist in accepting reservations, if applicable; answer phone in hospitable manner and confirm with manager large party accommodations
  • Check billing status of casino, room, bill back, coupon and comp numbers to assist with closing check
  • Direct Food Server, Bus Person, and Runner in their work procedures and performance and assist them in their tasks as it relates to billing, guest request or guest information
  • Assist Assistant Manager in controlling intermission scheduling for all dining room staff and assure that they are properly relieved
  • Maintain complete knowledge of entire menu and proper food handling presentation and service
  • Arrange opening reports, floor plan and checks
  • Maintain proper supplies for the hostess stand and podium, clean and/or dust host stand, podium, and food and beverage menus, maintain and make copies and stock host/hostess folder
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • 1+ Years of prior relevant experience as a host Person in a fine dining/high volume establishment preferred
