Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Fresh Cut Processor to join our Label team at Produce Innovations in Norwalk. The Fresh Cut Processor will be responsible for preparing and processing fresh fruits and vegetables according to company standards and customer specifications. This role requires English Language skills , math, precision, speed, and adherence to food safety and quality protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Take orders to begin labeling to containers.
  • Put labels in the containers with product description for all to be packed
  • Communicate / work efficiently and professionally with colleagues and heads.
  • The incumbent should be familiar with labeling guidelines.
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Follow standard recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency in product quality.
  • Package processed fruits and vegetables according to customer requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies to ensure product safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
  • Follow proper handling and storage procedures to prevent food contamination and spoilage.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in food processing, preferably in a fresh cut or produce environment.
  • English language skills- read. write speak
  • Lifting 50 pounds in repetitive actions
