Job Title:        Product Application Specialist

Location:        Conyers, GA             

 

What we're looking for:

 

The Product Application Specialist plays a key role in helping grow our refrigerated systems business through interaction with Customers, Sales Representatives, Dealers, Engineers of Record (EORs) and Regional Sales Managers.  The ideal candidate for this role can not only configure our refrigeration system products to meet the application needs of the Customer, but can also manage multiple projects concurrently.  The role requires someone who can work independently, has a true entrepreneurial mindset and enjoys solving problems.

 

What you'll be responsible for in this role:

 

  • Liaise with third-party engineers, customers, vendors and outside sales to determine customer requirements and specifications for jobs to be designed and to understand how product should be applied
  • Generates customer legend sheets / specifications
  • Calculates refrigeration load requirements and parameters
  • Construct full end to end proposals (entire refrigeration systems) for products to include racks, gas coolers, compressors, condensers, evaporators, controls and any other ancillary equipment to ensure the product is applied to customer expectations
  • Act as consultant to customer on new store installation or full-store remodels and help shape demand to best solutions
  • Utilize proprietary product application software to turn around proposals within established service levels
  • Build quality into every step and ensure, once an order is entered, that all functions downstream in process have all information needed
  • Enter customer orders in a timely fashion

What are the basic qualifications?

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or one of the following:

    o Minimum of 5 years in HVAC/R field (technician or product application)

    o Diploma from accredited HVAC/R institution with 2 years HVAC/R experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint)

What are the preferred qualifications?

 

  • 2-3 years' direct experience in technical role within commercial refrigeration industry
