Job Title: Production Associate.
Position: Full-time - Day Shift - 40 hours per week.
Location: Snover, MI 48472.
Salary: Wages based on experience - competitive entry level plus benefits (medical, vision, dental, 401K available, and more after probation period).
Our organic food processing facility is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Associate to carry out various tasks in our busy processing facility. The ideal candidate will have related work experience, excellent communication skills and mechanical aptitude. The successful applicant will be required to operate production equipment, meet safety standards, and report any issues with quality or equipment directly to supervisors. All qualified, responsible applicants are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
Job Description Overview:
  • Feed raw materials into production machinery and monitor the production process.
  • Carry out basic quality and testing checks.
  • Store raw materials and finished product properly.
  • Receive product and prepare product for shipment.
  • Use lifting equipment and forklift trucks to fulfill orders.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas and equipment.
  • Work in a variety of conditions (indoors and outdoors).
  • Complete required paperwork accurately.
  • Adhere to food and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • 2+ years' experience working in a warehouse preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
  • Multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Capable of lifting 70 pounds unassisted.
  • Able to work on foot for extended periods of time.
  • Reliable mode of transportation.
  • Able to work flexible hours and days during peak seasons.
  • Pass basic math test (calculator allowed) and pass background check.
  • Food safety and forklift training will be provided.
  • Personal protection equipment provided.
