We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Plant Manager for our Manufacturing division. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading organization in the industry, where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), GFSI (SQF or BRC), and Food Processing. Responsibilities
  • Overseeing daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficiency and safety at all times.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including HACCP, GMP, SQF or BRC, and other food safety standards.
  • Developing and implementing operational strategies and objectives to achieve corporate goals.
  • Supervising, training, and mentoring plant personnel, fostering a team-oriented environment.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
  • Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent production quality.
  • Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial reports, and forecasts.
  • Ensuring all equipment is maintained and functioning correctly, scheduling repairs and upgrades as necessary.
  • Implementing and managing quality control programs, ensuring products meet required specifications.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with HACCP, GMP, SQF or BRC, and Food Processing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
