The purpose of the Cafe Team is to enhance CCV's ability to be a destination point for the unchurched, promote fellowship for attendees, and to support the staff in growing their ministries in the aspects of making people feel comfortable while on our campus. The Cafe position willfacilitatethe function of the Cafe Team within the Ministry Support Department of CCV including both weekend days.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions 

  • Recruit, retain, and direct volunteersisa high priority as they are essential to operations 
  • Food preparation and distribution 
  • Operating the POS systems and handling money 
  • Equipment maintenance and cleaning 
  • Supporting other ministry activity as needed for church events and programming

Working Conditions 

  • 6-8 hourweekend shifts: some weekdays, Saturday & Sunday, with time off to attend a service (hours on Friday aredeterminedby events on campus) 
  • Expectation is to work weekends and holidays 
  • Standing on feet for entire shift, excluding meals 
  • Repetitive motions including but not limitedto:bending, lifting, food prep skills 
  • Ability to lift 50lbs. 
  • Extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
