Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager to support dining and retail operations at East Texas A&M University in Commerce, Texas. This position is ideal for an experienced food service leader with a strong background in residential dining, retail food operations, and customer service a high-volume operations.

What You'll Do
  • Lead daily operations across residential dining and retail food venues, ensuring efficient execution and exceptional customer service;

  • Supervise, train, and develop frontline staff to foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement;

  • Support catering operations and special events, ensuring successful planning and execution;

  • Manage labor scheduling, productivity, and staffing to meet operational needs;

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and Sodexo standards;

  • Assist with inventory management, cost controls, and operational reporting;

  • Partner with culinary and campus leadership teams to support dining programs and enhance the overall guest experience.
