As a Restaurant Brand Food Service Manager you will be entrusted to work with the Multi Unit or Multi Brand General manager to guide your fellow team members in delivering an exceptional guest dining experience, operational excellence to achieve the Brand standards in service and execution, and a working environment that promotes engagement and living the Company values, making Kwik Shop the clear choice for our guest’s every day needs. 

Responsibilities: 

  1. Lead by Example to show all store team members and guests what a great restaurant food service program looks like. 
  2. Work with the MU/MB General manager to build and develop a strong food service program by leading the food operation effectively. Set clear and measurable goals, assume ownership for program efficiency and success. Work with the MU/MB General Manager to hold others accountable and to position all team members for success through training, coaching, delegating and frequent communication. 
  3. Partner with the MU/MB General Manager to address team member performance or behavior issues quickly and fairly to keep the team strong. 
  4. With the guidance of the MU/MB General manager, achieve operational excellence, utilizing the Company’s operational goals to achieve financial objectives. (Sales/expenses to budget, net profit). 
  5. Manage the overall appearance and cleanliness and execution of the Brand standards for the program. With S MU/MB General Manager Oversight, delegate and direct fellow team members to maintain condition levels up to Company standard. 
  6. Oversee quality control, merchandising, safety programs and other guidelines in place for successful food service operations. Manage product levels so that we have what our guest’s desire and achieve the Company goal of 100% in-stock at all times. 
  7. Responsible for all inventory controls in the Branded Food Service area including ordering, receiving, inventorying, and waste control. 
  8. Responsible for maintaining all EG, Brand and local Board of Health cleaning and sanitation standards. 
  9. Work with the Brand Manager to communicate and fix any issues regarding product quality, food safety, equipment issues, training, signage needs, etc. 
  10. Perform other duties as assigned at the discretion of the Store Manager. 

Working Relationships: Guest Service Associates, Food Service Associates, MU/MB General Manager, Brand District Manager, Brand Regional Manager, Guest Service Leads, Site Manager, District Manager, Region Manager, Brand Manager, VP, Company personnel, and various vendors.


Minimum Education: High School or GED 

Minimum Experience: 1 year Food Service department lead capacity in retail or restaurant environment. 

Preferred Experience: 1-3 years Food Service experience. 

Licenses/Certifications: Serv Safe Certified a plus but not mandatory 

Soft Skills: • Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members • High energy • Ability to move from one activity to another quickly • Team oriented; willing to give extra effort to help others 

Other: Scheduling This position is full-time hourly position and primarily works days, however, may at times need to work a variety of hours depending on business needs (days, nights, weekends & Holidays). 

Travel: 5% to attend meetings 

Hours & Conditions: 40 hours Other Specialized work attire requirements (hats or visors, gloves, etc. – provided) 

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk 10 hours a day; ability to lift 40 lbs., reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip and work in freezer and cooler (cold temperatures).
