Job description

Civil CAD Designer – Northern Virginia

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare civil engineering plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Develop grading, drainage, utility, erosion & sediment control, and site layout plans.
  • Assist engineers with design calculations and plan production.
  • Revise drawings based on client and agency comments.
  • Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers throughout project development.
  • Ensure drawings meet company, client, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • 1–20 years of Civil CAD drafting/design experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
  • Experience with land development, site design, or civil infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
