BEVERTAINER (COCKTAIL SERVER)

We are thirsty for a Cocktail Server with charm, a sense of humor, and the motivation to serve our guests and contribute to the amazing time they spend at our Theater. This is more than just a bar; this is a theater experience. People from all over the world visit our Theater every single night and you (yes you!) will help them have a great time before and during the show. If you're great at talking to people and making them laugh and delivering delicious beverages, then this opportunity might be a shot you should take.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Maintain positive guest interactions while accurately serving beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Take beverage orders from guests, accept guest payment, process credit card charges
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes
  • Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
  • Constantly look for service opportunities
  • Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies
  • Balance the cash banks at the start and close of each shift
  • Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages
  • Keeps assigned areas clean and empty of glasses and bottles
  • Assist to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves
  • Assist to restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as may be needed.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION WE NEED YOU TO HAVE:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Alcohol Beverage Awareness (TAM) card required
  • Food Handler's Safety Card required
  • Valid Sheriff's Work Card or ability to obtain one required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as cocktail server

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of (20-30) hours a week
  • Ability to stand/walk continuously for 4-8 hours per day
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. with tray
  • Will frequently reach, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data
  • Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic
  • Work environment: exposure to food, liquor, mixing devices, drink machines, water, sanitizers, cleaning products, knives, other sharp objects, and slippery floors
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
