The Office Maintenance Lead Associate oversees the evening maintenance crew and provides training and guidance where needed in addition to performing specific cleaning duties. This position requires team members to perform duties to maintain the flow of work in the department. This position is 2nd shift hours, Monday - Friday from 4:30pm - 1:00am. What we are looking for
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent or job-related training/experience;
  • Ability to work evening hours (4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., Monday through Friday);
  • Ability to provide directions and instructions to cleaning crew;
  • Must be responsible for own work and work of the cleaning crew;
  • Ability and knowledge to use cleaning equipment;
  • May be required on occasion to lift up to 60 lbs;
  • Ability to perform duties while standing; requires stooping, climbing and bending;
  • Ability to work with heavy cleaning equipment such as floor buffer and scrubber and carpet cleaner.

What you will do
  • Clean, mop and wax floors and stairways;
  • Dust furniture and office equipment;
  • Vacuum and clean carpeting;
  • Collect recycling and remove scrap paper, cardboard and trash of all types;
  • Clean drinking fountains, restrooms, and glass;
  • Replenish supplies;
  • Operate trash compactor;
  • Complete daily reports at end of each shift;
  • Participate in some disciplinary meetings, as required;
  • Report any Team Member performance concerns to Supervisor;
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and place supply orders as needed;
  • Assign special cleaning tasks to cover shift shortages;
  • Assure cleaning equipment is kept clean and in good working condition;
  • Report repairs as needed.
