At Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort, we create memorable experiences through genuine hospitality, exceptional service, and the unique spirit of Hilton Head Island. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our Food & Beverage leadership team.
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the successful day-to-day operation of the restaurant, including delivering an exceptional guest experience, leading and developing associates, maintaining Omni service standards, and supporting the financial performance of the outlet.
This leader should have a passion for hospitality, enjoy developing a strong team, and thrive in a fast-paced resort environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead daily restaurant operations while maintaining Omni service and hospitality standards.
  • Create a welcoming, engaging, and memorable dining experience for every guest.
  • Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and develop restaurant associates.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and ensure associates are prepared with current menu, beverage, resort, and service information.
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence on the restaurant floor and actively engage with guests and associates.
  • Respond to guest opportunities promptly and professionally, empowering the team to create positive resolutions.
  • Partner with Culinary leadership to ensure consistent food quality, presentation, timing, and execution.
  • Monitor restaurant reservations, seating, staffing, and business levels to maximize service and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare schedules and manage staffing levels and labor costs based on forecasted business needs.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, payroll, purchasing, inventory, and other financial responsibilities.
  • Monitor revenue, expenses, labor, and cost-control opportunities to help achieve departmental financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with Omni standards, health and sanitation requirements, responsible alcohol service practices, and applicable local and state regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance throughout all restaurant and service areas.
  • Ensure proper cash handling, point-of-sale procedures, opening and closing procedures, and other operational controls.
  • Support resort-wide Food & Beverage operations, special events, holidays, and high-volume periods as needed.
  • Build a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, associate recognition, and professional growth.
  • Partner with resort leadership and other departments to provide a seamless experience for our guests.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Food & Beverage leadership.

Qualifications
  • Previous restaurant leadership or supervisory experience required; upscale hotel, resort, or high-volume restaurant experience preferred.
  • Strong passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, inventory, cost controls, and financial performance.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
  • Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance guest service and business priorities.
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on resort business needs.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements associated with restaurant operations.
