A serene sanctuary, Amangiri's 34 modernist suites, Aman Spa and mesa-embracing pool echo the tranquillity of the canyons. Camp Sarika, with its 10 tented pavilions, answers the region's call to adventure. An unrivalled base for exhilarating expeditions and fireside connection, the camp has its own restaurant, lounge and spa suites. Role The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the seamless daily operations of all food and beverage outlets at Amangiri. This hands‐on leader ensures the highest level of guest service while maintaining operational excellence, team engagement, and adherence to Aman standards. Working closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, the Assistant Manager drives quality, efficiency, and consistency across all dining experiences, from restaurant and in‐suite service to pool and spa dining. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Excellence Support the management of all aspects of food and beverage operations, including order taking, service delivery, and guest satisfaction across all dining venues. Ensure smooth coordination between service and culinary teams to guarantee timely and accurate order delivery. Maintain exceptional service standards through consistent supervision, training, and performance feedback. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests promptly and professionally. Support daily pre-shift meetings to ensure alignment on service goals and guest preferences. Coordinate the execution and delivery of guest amenities and special occasions across departments, maintaining meticulous records in line with brand standards. Team Leadership & Development Train, mentor, and supervise F&B team members to ensure consistent adherence to policies, procedures, and service expectations. Conduct regular performance evaluations and assist in scheduling, payroll, and team development initiatives. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages accountability and engagement. Quality & Compliance Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to develop strategies that enhance service quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Monitor compliance with Department of Health (DOH) requirements and company safety standards. Maintain accurate inventory levels, minimizing waste and spoilage through effective ordering and stock control. Support initiatives to innovate and elevate the food and beverage experience in alignment with industry trends and guest expectations. Administration Assist with ordering, procurement, and vendor coordination as required. Prepare and maintain operational reports and documentation as directed by management. Ensure adherence to Aman's grooming, appearance, and conduct standards at all times. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Authorized to work in the US. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a luxury food and beverage environment. Strong operational knowledge of food service, beverage management, and guest engagement. Proficiency with Micros, SevenRooms, and Opera systems highly preferred. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport across departments. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism. Flexible schedule including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. TIPS and ServSafe certifications required (or ability to obtain upon hire). Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 45 lbs; prolonged standing and walking required. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a variety of climates. Sensitivity to cultural nuances and commitment to Aman's philosophy of genuine, intuitive service. Multi-lingual abilities a plus.
