Position Summary
The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for supporting and executing all aspects of food & beverage operations, including concessions, premium hospitality and catering services. This role supports the Director of Food & Beverage in delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational efficiency, financial performance and team development.
The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality leader with a strong background in high volume event operations and premium service environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversees all food & beverage operations and execution for assigned events including concessions, bars, premium hospitality, and catering services.
• Ensures operational readiness before, during, and after all assigned events
• Develops and implements work plans including scheduling and ordering, and assigns appropriate duties to subordinates
• Supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting by monitoring food sales, labor costs, attendance, inventory, and operating results while maintaining established food and labor cost targets
• Develops menus/themes for the event and establishes pricing for services
• Inspects food service facilities to ensure that equipment and buildings meet requirements of state and local health laws and internal regulations
• Maintains inventory control
• Inspects and tastes prepared foods to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations
• Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including many nights, weekends and holidays throughout the year
• Coaches, develops, and mentors hourly bartenders and other hourly event staff
• Ensures exceptional guest service standards are maintained throughout every event
• Promotes a positive, collaborative work environment by leading with professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to exceptional guest service
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Food & Beverage Management or related field preferred
• Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience in food & beverage operations, hospitality, catering, or a related field.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
