Job description

Overview Coordinate the efforts of the Food & Beverage/Inventory Control Dept. in the areas of: Inventory Control and Cost Accounting. Analysis and reporting of cost information and reconciliation of purchases. #GNLT Responsibilities
  • Strategic planning of the Food & Beverage Control Department toward future projects.
  • Tactical planning and supervision of Food & Beverage Control Department in the daily operations involved in monitoring and accounting for inventory.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to safety and efficiency procedures
  • Coordinating the efforts of Purchasing, Receiving, Warehousing, and Food & Beverage cost centers toward efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Daily administrative duties involved in operating Inventory Control department.
  • In-depth cost analysis of F&B outlets requiring extensive knowledge of the COGS formula and how it applies to Food & Beverage.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
Qualifications Food & Beverage Accounting experience, Food & Beverage product knowledge, computerized inventory experience, hotel/restaurant or related degree, management experience preferred. Ability to operate a 10 key calculator, telephone, FAX, computer and photocopy machine. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Tipped Position This position does not earn tips Benefits
