Job description

About fomo
fomo is a trading app for the rest of us. With fomo you can sign up in seconds and have instant access to any asset on-chain without the need for external wallets, bridges or prior knowledge. fomo has social features that are actually useful - follow top traders (with full access to their portfolio and trades) and find tokens early. fomo does all of this while providing the best-in-class execution and data for experienced traders.

About the team
You'll be joining a team of 5 on the GTM side. The company is based in-person in SoHo, NYC. Everyone on the team is crypto-native with experience from companies like dYdX, Google, Snap, Two Sigma, Uniswap, OpenSea, and Zora. We have high standards for ourselves and the people we work with.
About the role
You'll sit at the intersection of design and growth, partnering closely with the GTM and Product team to create content that converts - product feature launches, socials, growth campaigns, and more. You'll be a steward of the fomo brand system: expanding it, refining it, and building the visual world around it so that every touchpoint feels intentional and cohesive.
Day-to-day, this looks like:
  • Evolving and documenting the fomo brand system: typography, color, illustration, visual language, world-building
  • Designing social media campaigns in close collaboration with the growth team
  • Collaborating with Product Design to craft cohesive and delightful brand touchpoints across our surfaces
  • Designing cool merch concepts

This role is in-person in NYC. We have a strong in-person culture and just moved into a new spacious office in Soho.
Ideal candidate
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand or graphic design, ideally at a consumer app, agency, or culture-forward brand.
  • A strong portfolio showing an eye for craft, systematic thinking, and executional range - you can zoom out to set direction and zoom in to ship quality assets.
  • Comfortable experimenting with new tools, concepts, and design processes.
  • Motion design and/or 3D skills are a meaningful plus.
  • Personal crypto trading experience is a plus - everyone on our team trades, and it is what lets our product stand out amongst the competition.
