These professionals are responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. They may administer oxygen, manage ventilators, and provide patient education on respiratory health. Their work is crucial in hospitals, clinics, and home health settings, ensuring patients receive optimal respiratory support.

To thrive as a Focus Respiratory Therapist, you need a solid background in respiratory therapy, typically with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree and state licensure or certification such as CRT or RRT. These competencies ensure effective patient care, accurate diagnostics, and efficient collaboration within healthcare teams.
