Companies use focus groups to gather insights from consumers before launching or improving a product. Panelists are selected based on demographics and interests to represent target audiences. Sessions can be in person or online and may last from 30 minutes to a few hours. Compensation varies but can include cash, gift cards, or product samples.

These abilities are crucial to ensure meaningful insights are gathered by researchers or organizations looking to improve their products or services.

What can I expect during a typical focus group panel session?

During a typical focus group panel session, you will join a small group—either in person or online—to discuss your opinions, experiences, or reactions to specific products, services, or concepts. Sky Lakes Cardiology | Klamath Falls, Oregon

Sky Lakes Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join our tight-knit team in beautiful Southern Oregon. This role is a "bread and butter" conventional cardiology position where you will inherit an existing patient panel from a retiring provider while having the autonomy to grow your own practice.

Join a highly collegial group consisting of three Interventional Cardiologists and one General Cardiologist. We pride ourselves on a "work hard/play hard" culture that deeply understands the necessity of work-life balance.

Predictable Pacing: Seasoned providers average 10 patients per day in the clinic.

Quality Time: We prioritize outcomes over volume with 60-minute new patient slots and 30-minute follow-ups.

Sustainable Schedule: Full-time Monday–Friday schedule. A typical week includes 3 clinic days, 1 procedure day, and 1 admin day.

Modern Facilities: Practice in two Cath Labs—one has been recently updated, and the second is scheduled for a full renovation within the next 12–18 months.

Equitable Call: 1:4 weekday and weekend rotation with Interventional backup always available.

Procedures: Focus on Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE), Cardioversions, and interpretation of Stress Testing (nuclear and treadmill).

Productivity: Quarterly RVU-based bonuses

Sign-On Bonus:$100,000 (distributed over 3 years)

Time Away & CME:$4,000 annual allowance plus 5 dedicated CME PTO days

Support: Full relocation assistance and a standard comprehensive benefits package

Qualification & Academic Opportunity

Experience: Open to both experienced providers and 2026/2027 graduates

Teaching: Opportunity to work with and mentor Family Medicine residents during their cardiology rotations

Visa Support: We are proud to accept J-1 and H1-B candidates
