Job description

The Portfolio Strategy Group (PSG) is a premier independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) with more than 35 years of experience serving high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. The firm oversees more than $2.7 billion in client assets and is recognized for its customized wealth management approach, research-driven investment philosophy, and long-standing client relationships.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planner to join our growing team in White Plains. This role is ideal for a technically strong planner with deep eMoney expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to contribute meaningfully within client relationships while supporting senior advisors and partners.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
  • Utilize eMoney extensively for financial modeling, scenario analysis, and planning recommendations
  • Partner closely with senior advisors and firm leadership to support ongoing client relationships
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to planning discussions and strategic recommendations
  • Analyze complex financial situations involving retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, cash flow, and investment coordination
  • Develop customized planning strategies tailored to clients' long-term goals and objectives
  • Assist in identifying planning opportunities and delivering proactive client advice
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals to support integrated client solutions
  • Help ensure a high-touch, detail-oriented client experience

Qualifications:
  • CFP® certification required
  • 3+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related advisory role
  • Advanced proficiency with eMoney and financial planning software
  • Strong technical knowledge across retirement, tax, estate, and wealth transfer planning
  • Experience working with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients preferred
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with the confidence to contribute in client-facing environments
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $130,000-$160,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
