This healthcare facility is a well-established medical center in the Lafayette area that provides comprehensive radiology and interventional services to the community. The facility features dedicated IR suites that don't share space with cardiology, allowing for specialized focus on interventional radiology procedures with strong support staff including PAs who handle lighter IR procedures.
Opportunity:
Interventional Radiologist - Radiology
Job Details:
• Long-term onsite Interventional Radiology position with urgent need coverage
• Schedule: 7 days a week, 7a-4p EST at the East campus location
• On-call responsibilities 7 nights per week with call back
• Focus on high-end IR procedures only (PA support for light IR procedures)
• Reading cases when able to read what the Radiologist feels comfortable with
• Board Certification required
• Temp privileges available for candidates with clean files
• Productivity expectation: 25 RVUs per shift
• Technology: RPCE Tech Stack, Powerscribe 4.0
• Holidays to be determined
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
