• This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field.
• Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.
• In addition to role-specific projects, you’ll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role  

As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.

Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.

Internship responsibilities may include:

• Emerging Technology team focuses on creating net-new revenue generating opportunities for Spectrum. The projects we work on will vary but likely to focus on managing specific projects or features for a 3rd party developer platform and supporting specific processes that are part of the reporting and delivery of projects for this developer platform. 
• Manage end-to-end (requirements creation to deployment) the project delivery for the specific projects assigned with support from your project mentor and manager and in collaboration with the product owner and technical delivery lead (or at least for the time duration of the internship). To expand exposure to various functions and workflows would also have the intern assist on specific processes like the developer platform intake process and/or the department portfolio reporting.

• Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
