Job description

Associate Product Manager
General Summary:
The Associate Product Manager, in partnership with cross functional team (Merchandising, Design, Technical Design, etc.) managing the product development and production process for the Lucky brand. The Associate Product Manager proactively seeks opportunities to elevate the product, achieve the financial goals of the category, and enhance operational efficiency.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Develop, source and place programs on a seasonal basis, emphasizing quality and maintaining business plans
  • Support the Product Manager with day-to-day operational tasks and project coordination.
  • Communicate daily with vendors, providing product feedback, tracking deliverables and negotiating costing.
  • Manage and update information in the PLM system accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with all production submissions, ensuring documentation is complete and properly routed.
  • Attend weekly fit sessions, collaborate with Design and Technical teams to identify, track, and resolve production FIT issues; communicate updates to the Product Manager and relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage sending, receiving, and logging packages related to samples and production materials.
  • Track all proto and showroom samples and maintain sample tracker chart
  • Escalate urgent or important product issues to the Product Manager promptly.
  • Partner cross-functionally-Design, Tech, Production, Merchandising, and other teams-on all submits, sample reviews, and timeline needs.

Position Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Production/Product Development
• Prior experience independently managing product categories
• Clear and thorough understanding of the product development and product life cycle
• Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills
• Strong retail math and business acumen/financial skills
• Ability to manage priorities and shift tasks as needed
• Proficiency in PLM Flex, with a strong emphasis on Adobe Suite
• Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration. Job duties may be performed effectively using the hybrid work program designated by the company.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods
• Ability to reach at or below shoulder level
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs (sometimes required to lift/transport showroom sample parcels)
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience.
