Job Summary:
ClifyX is a company specializing in solutions for the electric utility sector, and they are seeking a Senior Application Developer with expertise in Oracle Spatial. The role involves participating in workshops, creating requirement documents, and developing functionalities using spatial data tools.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in workshops, understand both functional and non-functional business requirement and business criticality of desired systems
• Create Requirement/User Story documents
• Create/review Design Documents / Impact analysis documents
• Develop of functionalities using Oracle Spatial and spatial data tools (FME, Python, ArcGIS)
• Carry out Deployment and support activities
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
• At least 8-10 years of experience in implementing solutions using Oracle Spatial and spatial data tools (FME, Python, ArcGIS)
• At least 5 years of experience in playing the above mentioned roles in the area of Electric utilities Transmission and Distribution domain
• Demonstrated skills in developing and implementing GIS solutions using Oracle Spatial and spatial data tools (FME, Python, ArcGIS) in Electric utilities Transmission and Distribution domain
• Proficiency in writing Stored Procedures, Functions in PL/SQL in Oracle
• Working experience in oracle spatial database performance tuning
• Working experience developing tools for spatial data handling using FME, Python, ArcGIS
• Good experience in creating Requirement documents /User Stories, Design documents (Physical and Logical / High and Low level)
• Working knowledge of Software development methodologies like waterfall, Agile
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with different geographically spread teams
