Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate eating disorder symptoms, including psychological evaluations that explore co-occurring mental health issues.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect clients' diverse needs, setting realistic recovery goals through collaborative discussions.
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to facilitate effective therapeutic sessions.
  • Guide clients through their therapy journey by addressing and challenging distorted body image perceptions and unhealthy relationships with food.
  • Teach adaptive coping strategies, enhance emotional regulation skills, and provide actionable plans to combat disordered eating behaviors.
  • Work alongside your treatment team to ensure cohesive care delivery, addressing the comprehensive needs of each client and adjusting care approaches as needed.
  • Provide psychoeducation for clients and their families, increasing their understanding of eating disorders and fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation of client interactions, progress, treatment plans, and session notes in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications
