Job description

MATRIX Camps, Logistics & Aviation is seeking Camp Managers for rotational roles at remote project sites throughout Canada. This position is ideal for a selfdriven, adaptable individual who thrives in a team environment and pays close attention to detail, accuracy, and task prioritization. The role is based in remote camps that experience challenging weather conditions, requiring onsite work, with camp locations shifting according to project needs.

  • Take the lead on overall camp operations, keeping facilities, accommodations, and daily services running smoothly in a remote environment
  • Handle the operation and upkeep of incinerators, PACTO toilets, water filtration, and waste systems
  • Troubleshoot and maintain basic electrical, plumbing, generator, and water systems as issues arise
  • Work closely with the culinary team, helping coordinate inventory, deliveries, and ensuring a reliable camp supply chain

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in camp operations, facilities maintenance, or remote sites
  • Comfortable working with incinerators, PACTO toilets, generators, and core utility systems
  • Strong maintenance skills with a practical, solutions focused approach
  • First Aid, WHMIS, and valid Firearms License (PAL) required
