Job description

Mobile SDET - Durham, North Carolina

Requirements:

  • BS or above in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of professional Testing/Development experience with 3+ of those involving in Android Automation using Kotlin/Java supported by RESTful web services.
  • Verifiable experience as a domain specialist using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Gradle, and Android Studio in a large, enterprise environment, preferably as part of a team of Test Engineers
  • Participated in the release of at least 1 publicly available app to Google Play participating from inception to launch using automated tooling like Jenkins, Gradle, and Google Developer APIs.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodology
  • Design, develop and maintain a suite of automation tests, write and execute test cases.
  • Ability to investigate, isolate, and tackle technical issues across the full technology stack by using automated & manual testing methodologies
  • Advanced skills in scripting languages for automation (ie. python, java)
  • Proven experience testing Rest APIs with a solid understanding of RESTful web services.
  • Strong testing acumen as well as the technical know-how to automate CICD pipeline.
  • Experience in a DevOps environment using CI/CD tools; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy are a plus
  • Experience with code Quality/Coverage Tools (Sonar or equivalent) are a plus.
  • Superb communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organization.
